Svante Kumlin welcomes new Chief Operating Officer to EEW

Eco Energy World, a leading developer of utility-scale solar energy projects, announces the appointment of Panagiotis (“Panos”) Sarris as Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.

Panos, an electrical engineer, is a seasoned professional with 17 years of successful track record in the PV solar sector and 28 years of global experience in general, project and people management.

or the past four years, Panos served as General Manager – Solar for ABO Wind AG (“ABO”) where he led the newly established solar division, developing and overseeing organisational functions and strategic partnerships with key suppliers and subcontractors. During this period, he delivered ABO’s first solar projects across four countries (Germany, Hungary, Greece, Tunisia) and contributed to the fast development of its multi-GW global solar pipeline.

Prior to joining ABO has worked in various renewable energy project development roles including in Greece, Turkey and the UK.
